Age Limits: Age is considered as on last date online applications
i.e., 14th February 2017. The upper age relaxation is applicable for
the candidates who belong to SC, ST & OBC category, Physically Handicapped,
Ex-Servicemen and Government Servants as per Government rules. The minimum age
limit is common for all categories. The age limits for this recruitment is
Minimum Age – 18 years
Maximum Age – 27 years
Educational Qualifications:
For Postman:
- Matriculation from a recognized
Board/University.
For Mail Guard:
- Matriculation or equivalent from
a recognized Board/University.
Fee Particulars: The candidates need to pay Application Fee plus
Examination Fee as per the rules. The Application fee is mandatory for all
category candidates and examination fee is only for general & OBC Male
candidates. Fee particulars are
Application Fee – Rs. 100/-
Examination Fee – Rs. 400/-
Payment Mode: Pay the fee in
any departmental post office in Kerala Postal Circle with E-Payment Facility
with the system Generated Challan Form.
Selection Procedure: Department will conduct a common Aptitude Test
for all the candidates who applied for this recruitment. The final selection is
based on the merit marks of the Aptitude Test. The Aptitude test will be held
on 9th April 2017.
Aptitude Test Pattern: This is an objective type test which consists
of 4 sections; General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Malayalam. 100 questions
1 mark for each question and time duration for the exam is 2 hours. There is no
negative marking.
