Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate’s minimum required eligibility criteria to apply for this recruitment in the sense of Age limits and educational qualifications are as given below

Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1^st January 2016 and the details of age limits are as follows

Minimum Age – 18 Years

Maximum Age – 40 Years

(Upper Age limit relaxation is applicable for the candidates who belongs to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories or physically challenged/in Govt. Service/Ex-Servicemen as per the government rules)

Educational Qualifications:

- The Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in Accordance with University Grants Commission shall be exempted from the requirement of Minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

For Librarian Post:

- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional Degree with Knowledge of Computerization of Library and having at least 55% Marks or equivalent grade from an India/Accredited Foreign University.

- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/AIU.

For Physical Training Instructor:

- Master’s Degree in Physical Education/Sports Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade with Good Academic record.

- Has represented the University/College at the Inter-university/Collegiate competition or the State and/or national Championship.

- must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/AIU.

- Passed the Physical Fitness Test as per the below standards

Examination Fee: After Successful submission of the online application, Download system generated challan. Pay the examination fee in any branch of J&K Branch and the fee particulars including bank charges are

How to Apply:

1. Visit Official website of JKPSC www.jkpsc.nic.in

2. Go through the Online Form Tab which is on left side menu.

3. A new window will be opened related online application Links.

4. Click on the related to Librarian and Physical Training Instructor in Higher Education Department Online Applications.

5. Active Online Application Window will be opened.

6. Go through either Librarian or Physical Training Instructor post, Click on Apply Button.

7.  A pop up window will opened which contains the online Application instruction.

8. Read instructions and Click on the Check box then click on Apply.

9. Application will be displayed, carefully fill up all the fields of the application.

10. Before going to submit the application, check entire details once and then click Submit Button.

11. Pay the Examination Fee with the system Generated challan.

12. Send the Printout of the application along with Counterfoil Copy of challan authenticated by the bank and other requisite documents in the office of the Commission.
