Pay Scale: Rs. 10,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3,200/-
Probation Period: 3 years (for fresh appointees)
Eligibility Criteria: The minimum required eligibility criteria of
the candidate to apply for this 2016 constable post recruitment of Punjab Armed
police cadre like Nationality, age limits, educational qualifications, Physical
Standards etc are as given below
Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of India
- Should not have obtained the
citizenship/permanent residency/green card of any other country.
Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1st January 2016 and
Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/BC/Ex-Servicemen category
candidates as per government rules.
Minimum Age- 18 years
Maximum Age – 28 years (SC/ST/BC – ‘+5 years’ and
Ex-Servicemen – ‘+3 years + no. of years of service in Indian Defence Forces’)
Educational Qualifications: These are the minimum educational
qualifications of the candidates
- 10+2 or its equivalent from
recognized education board/university.
- must have passed matriculation
examination with Punjab as one of the compulsory/elective Subject or any other equivalent
examination in Punjab Language. (Must have knowledge on Punjabi Language)
Physical Standards: The minimum required height and chest
measurements of this recruitment are
Height – 5 Feet 10 inches (5’ 10”)
Chest – Minimum 38 inches with
minimum expansion of 2 inches
For Ex-Servicemen:
Height – 5 Feet 10 inches (5’ 10”)
Application Fee: Application fee payment will be accepted in both
online and offline. Category wide Application fee details are
General Category – Rs. 400/-
SC/ST/BC category – Rs. 100/-
Ex-Servicemen – No fee
Online Mode: Pay the fee
through Net banking/Debit card/Credit Card at the time of filling the online
application form.
Offline Mode: After
successfully submitted the online application form, the candidate needs to
download the Bank Challan form and take a printout of it. Pay the required Fee
amount in any branch of HDFC Bank with the Printout of the Challan form. After
Successfully Pay the Fee the Bank should give the candidates copy of the
challan.

1. Substance Abuse (Drug
Addiction) Test (SAT)
2. Physical Screening Test (PST):
PST Events:
- 100 Meters Race to be completed
in 13 seconds (1 chance only)
- 20 Feet Rope Climbing (1 chance
only)
- Minimum 8 feet Standing Broad
Jump (3 Chances only)
For Ex-Servicemen:
- 100 Meters Race to be completed
in 15 seconds (1 chance only)
- 15 Full Squats within 25
seconds
- 15 pushups within 25 seconds
