Age Limits: Age is considered as on 2nd June 2017

Minimum Age – 18 years

Maximum Age – 40 years

Educational Qualification:

- Should pass 10th Class from Approved State boards by respective State Government/Central Government.

Computer Knowledge: should have Basic Computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized computer training Institute.

Note: Computer Training Certificate is relaxable for the candidates who have studied computer as one of the subjects in 10th standard/12th standard/any higher education.

3. A new window will be opened related to India Post Online Gramin Dak Sevak applications.

4. Click on Registration link.

5. Online Registration Form will be opened, fill up all the fields carefully and click on Submit Details button.

6. After Successful Submission of the Online registration form, A unique Registration number will be generated and sent to the register e-mail/Mobile number.

7. Pay the Application Fee in any Head Post office (by giving the Registration Number at the PO Counter for making payment) – if applicable

8. After Fee Payment once again visit the India Post Online Gramin Dak Sevak applications website www.appost.in/gdsonline.

9. Now go through Apply Online link.

10. Online Application log in page will be opened, in that enter the registration number, fee Receipt number (if applicable) and Choose Uttarakhand Postal Circle from the list.

11. After that fill the online application Form carefully and upload the required documents.

12. Finally check out the filled details once and click on Submit button.

13. After Successful Submission of the online Application, take a printout of the application for future reference.

- The selection completely based on the 10th Standards merit marks.

- The candidates who were passed 10th class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed Compartmentally.
