Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1^st January 2017 and there is no relaxation either for upper age or lower age.

Minimum Age – 18 years

Maximum Age – 25 years

Educational Qualifications:

For Grade Pay Rs. 1900/Rs. 2000 posts:

- 12^th Pass or equivalent or higher education from recognized board.

For Grade Pay Rs. 2400 posts:

- Intermediate in Science with Mathematics & Physics (for Technician Grade)

For Grade Pay Rs.2800 posts:

- Graduation or its equivalent from recognized university/institute

Sportspersons in Group-C Category minimum requirements/Norms: International Championships/Events are categorized in specific way and the candidate who have any category sports achievement can apply for the specific grade posts. Required Sports Achievements

For PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200/-)+Grade Pay Rs. 2400/2800: should have any one of the following - Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category -A) - At Least 3rd position in any of the Category-B Championship/Events

For PB-1 (Rs. 5200 -20200/-) +Garde Pay Rs. 1900/2000:  Should have any one of the following - Represented the country in any of the Category –B Championships/Events - At least 3rd position in any of the Category – C championship/events - At least 3rd position in Senior/youth/Junior National Championships - At least 3rd position in National Games organized under Aegis of Indian Olympic Association - At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under Aegis of Association of Indian Universities - 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)

Note: The Sports achievements shall be in current year and/or immediate previous 2 financial years (means after 1^st April 2014 achievements only considered for this recruitment) and Sportspersons shall be an active player.

Examination Fee: Fee amount will be accepted through Indian Postal Order at Hajipur. Indian Postal Order (IPO) should be pledged in Favor of FA & CAO, East Central Railway at Hajipur. The fee details are

SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with 40% or Above Disabilities (PWD)/Women/Minorities/ Economic BC (EBC income below Rs. 50,000 per years) – Rs. 250/-

Others – Rs. 500/-

Note: the fee amount will be refunded for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with 40% or Above Disabilities (PWD)/Women/Minorities/ Economic BC (EBC income below Rs. 50,000 per years)category candidates if they participated in the trail.
