Security Force (CISF) released a special recruitment notification 2016 for
Constable/Driver posts. This Special Constable/Driver 2016 Recruitment of CISF
is for SC & ST male candidates only. The total number of vacancies

inviting all the eligible SC & ST male candidates to apply for this CISF

Pay Band-1 Rs. 5,200/- to Rs.
20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-
Eligibility Criteria: the candidate’s minimum required eligibility
criteria to apply for this 2016 special recruitment of CISF like age limits,
Educational qualifications, physical standards, Medical Standards and etc are
as given below.
Age Limits: the age is considered as on the closing date for
receipt of applications. Upper age relaxation is applicable for the specific
candidates based on the government rules.
Minimum Age – 21 years
Maximum Age – 27 years + 5 years
(for SC & ST)
Educational Qualifications:
- Should have passed
Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized board.
- Should have valid driving
License
Driving License:
- Heavy Motor Vehicle or
Transport Vehicle (License obtained after attaining the age of 20 years)
- Light Motor Vehicle (License
obtained after attaining the age of 18 years)
- Motor Cycle with gear
Physical Standards: The minimum required physical standards of the
candidates are
For SC Candidates:
- Height must not be less than
167 centimeters
- Chest around minimum 80 centimeters
with minimum expansion of 5 centimeters (i.e., 80-85 cms).
For ST candidates:
- Height must not be less than
160 centimeters.
- Chest around minimum 76 centimeters
with minimum expansion of 5 centimeters (i.e., 76-81 cms).
Medical Standards:
- Shall fulfill the SHAPE-1
Medical standard (SHAPE-1 Means S-
Psychiatric problems, H- Hearing
Problems, A- Arms & legs
problems, P- Hypertension (High BP),
Heart Diseases, Diabetics (High Sugar), Obesity, cancer etc and E- eye sight or Eye Diseases).
- Weight corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.
- Eye Sight: Each eye must have a full field of vision.
Distance Vision – 6/6 for both
eyes
Near Vision – N/5 for both eyes
- must not have knock knees, flat
foot, varicose vein and squint eyes.
- Must be in good mental &
Bodily health and free from any physical defect which interfere the efficient
performance of the duties.
- Tattoo on any part of the body
will be debarred for the recruitment of CISF.

related to Constable/Driver-2016 recruitment, to download the application

5. After getting the Official
notification file, take a print out of the Application form
6. Fill the Application Form
carefully and Candidate himself fills the entire details of the application
form. After filling the application form Sent it with the required documents to
the below given address on or before 19th November 2016 (North East
region candidates sent the application on or before 26th November
2016).
Required documents need to
attach with the Application form:
1. Two recent passport size
photographs.
2. Photo Copy of the Age Proof,
Educational qualification, caste Certificates.
3. Two Self Addressed Envelopes (8
x 19 cms size) duly affixing Rs.22/- Postal stamps on each envelope.
4. Two Additional Self signed (Front
side) passport size photos (Clipped alongwith Application Form)
5. Attested Photocopy of valid
Driving License for Heavy motor Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycle
with gear.
6. Photostat Copy of the Certificate
from the Concerned RTO regarding validity of License (License issued before 18
years for Motor Cycle with gear & Light Motor Vehicle, before 20 years for
Heavy Motor Vehicle)
7. Photostat Copy of the Certificate
from the Concerned RTO regarding date of issue of motor cycle with gear, LMV
and HMV License. (if issuing date is not mentioned in the Licenses)
8. Photocopy of 3 year driving
experience certificate.
9. Photostat copy of certificate
form District Collector/District Magistrate in case of Children and departments
of victims killed in the 1984 riots & Communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat.
10.Photostat copy of Domicile
certificate for those who had ordinarily been Domiciled in the state of J &
K from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 for Age relaxtion.

Selection Procedure:
1. Eligibility Test:
recruitment Board will conduct this eligibility test based on the required
eligibility criteria as per the notification like on Age, Educational
qualification, Height, Chest, Driving License, Driving Experience etc.
2. Physical Efficiency Test
(PET): the candidates who qualified in eligibility test will be called for
PET and three events will be conducted in PET. Ex-servicemen are exempted from
PET.
- 1800 Meters run to be completed
in 3 minutes and 15 seconds
- 11 Feet Long Jump (3 chance
only)
- 3 Feet 6 Inches (3 Chances
only)
3. Trade Test and Written
Test: the candidates who qualify in
PET, physical measurement and detailed verification of eligibility
standards/Documents will be invited for the Trade & Written tests

4. Medical Examination:
The candidates who qualify in the above test will be short listed based on
their merit. The short listed candidates will be invited for the detailed medical
examination to assess their fitness.
5. Final Selection: Final
selection is based on the merit who participated in detailed Medical examination.
