BSF J&K Recruitment 2016: Border Security Force (BSF) released
a recruitment notification for Constable (GD) Posts on 4th August
2016. This BSF recruitment notification is for the constable posts in Central
Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and total no. of vacancies for this recruitment is
1206. Border Security Force of India is inviting the male and female candidates
who belong to Jammu and Kashmir states and interested in this recruitment of BSF
can register through Recruitment Rally. The recruitment rally for Constable
(GD) posts will be conducted from 24th August 2016 to 2nd
September 2016 in the specified districts of Jammu & Kashmir states. The
candidates who are interested in this recruitment can apply for it at your
district recruitment rally center (PST or PET Centers). Check out the

No. of Vacancies: This recruitment is for 1206 constable (GD) posts
in CAPFs and ARs. 206 vacancies are for female candidates only and 1000
vacancies is for Male and Female candidates. The further details of vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: required eligibility of the candidate
for this recruitment of BSF like educational qualification, age limits,
physical standards are as follows
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th
Standard Pass
Age Limits: the age is considered as on 1st August 2016.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and Domiciled in the state of
J&K during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st
December 1989 as per the government rules

How to Apply: The candidates will need to submit the prescribed
format of Application form with Passport size photo affixing on it and the
application form should be enclosed with the required documents.
Documents List:
1. Candidates are required to
fill up the application form in Hindi or English.
2. Attested copies of
Certificates/testimonials as proof of Educational Qualification and age/date of
Birth.
3. Caste certificate for
SC/ST/OBC issued by a Gazetted officer not below Tehsildar or SDO/SDM etc.
4. Attested copy of Domicile
Certificate. Aadhar Number, Voter ID Card & Ration card issued by a Gazetted
officer not below Tehsildar or SDO/SDM etc.
5. A Form for Issue of Admit Card
will also be filled in and submitted along with Passport size photo duly
attested by Gazetted Officer with seal. (Application Form format and Admit card
format is given in the official notification)
Selection Procedure: After registration they will be issued Admit
Cards for the eligible candidate personally. The candidates will be invited to
appear for the selection test at the PST/PET Center on the dates which BSF
decides to conduct the test.
Tests:
1. Height Test.
2. Conduct a race for the
qualified candidates in Height test.
3. Certificate/Testimonials of
the candidates will be checked after identification process and the eligible
candidates will be allowed for further process.
4. The candidates who are qualified
in PST/PET will be required to appear in a written test.
Written test: - Objective type
test with 100 Questions 1 mark for each question and time duration is 2 hours.
5. Medical Examination.

September 2016.
