Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1st July 2016 and upper age relaxation is applicable for the candidates who belongs to SC/ST/BC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-Servicemen/N.C.C/A.P State Govt. Employees/Retrenched temporary Employees in the State census Department with minimum 6 months service categories as per Govt. rules. The minimum age limit is common for all category candidates and the age limit details other than these categories is

Educational Qualifications:

- Good Academic record with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH category candidates) or equivalent grade at Master Degree Level in relevant Subject from recognized University of India.

- Should have passed NET (National Eligibility Test) for Lecturers conducted by UGC, CISR or Similar tests accredited by the UGC or SLET conducted by the Osmania University in terms of G.O.Ms.No.19, Higher Education (CE-1-I), Dept. Dt. 24/02/2011 and by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in term of G.O.Ms.No.47, Higher Education (CE-1) Dept., Dt. 02/12/2015.

Application & Examination Fee: Fee will be paid through payment Gateway. Examination fee is exempted for SC, ST & BC category candidates of AP State and PH & Ex-Servicemen candidates. The fee particulars are

Selection Procedure:

1. Screening Test: this test is objective type and consists of 150 questions on Degree Standard for 150 marks. The time duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. Negative marking applicable for each wrong answered question i.e.,1/3rd marks of that question.

2. Main Written Exam: The candidates who qualify in Screening test will be called for Main Examination in 1:50 ratio. The Main Examination consists of 2 papers 150 marks for each and the exam pattern as given below
