Educational Qualifications:

- Must possess a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture of a recognized University in the State or any other universities accredited by Indian Council of Agriculture Research.

Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1st July 2016 and upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST, BC and Physically Handicapped candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Retrenched temporary employees in State Census, N.C.C and AP State Govt. Employees as per government rules.

Minimum Age – 18 years

Maximum Age – 42 years

Application & Examination Fee: Fee is payable through the Payment Gateway using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card and the fee particulars are

Application Fee – Rs. 250/-

Examination Fee – Rs. 120/-

Note: Examination Fee is exempted for the candidates belong to AP state SC, ST, BC, PH, and Ex-Servicemen categories, Un-employed youth of AP State (in age group of 18 to 42 years) and white card holders of AP.

How to Apply online:

1. Visit Official website of APPSC www.psc.ap.gov.in

2. Go through the OTPR (One Time Profile Registration) Link or Log in tab.

3. After Successful Completion of OTP registration, candidate gets a unique OTPR ID.

4. Go through Log in Tab.

5. OTPR Registration Link will be opened, Click on Existing User Button if you already created OTPR.

6. Log in window will be opened, in that Enter OTPR ID, Password and Code in the box correctly.

7. Click on Login button.

8. Go through the Online Application Submission Link.

9. All active APPSC Recruitment Notification Applications will be displayed.

10. Go through Notification no. 33/2016, Agriculture Officers in AP Director of Agriculture.

11. Click on Apply Link of this recruitment.

12. Online Application Form will be opened, enter all the fields and Pay the Fee.

13. After Successful Submission of online application form, Application Reference ID will be generated.

14. Take a printout of the submitted online application.

Selection Procedure: The selection is based on the written exam marks (merit based).

1. Written Examination Pattern: Computer Based objective type examination which consists of 2 papers; paper-I & Paper-II. Negative marking is applicable for each wrong answered questions i.e., 1/3rd marks of that question.
