This is 2,34,523 students appeared for Senior Secondary (Science) Exams and 48,113 students appeared for Senior Secondary (Commerce) Exams.

VITEEE 2017 Phase-I & II Counselling Dates & Eligibility: Vellore Institute of Technology University conducted the VITEEE 2017 Exam from 5th April to 16th April 2017. After successful completion of VITEEE 2017 Exam the VIT University released the results along with Rank on 23rd April 2017. The VIT University released the Phase-I & Phase-II Counselling Schedule & Eligibility in its official website www.vit.ac.in and inviting VITEEE 2017 Rank holders from 1 to 99999 for admission in VIT Vellore/Chennai/Bhopal (MP)/VIT AP, the counseling will be started from 10th May 2017. The Candidates will be permitted to attend the Counselling Only Once. The VITEEE 2017 Rank holders from 1,00,000 to  1,50,000 are eligible to attend the counselling for admission in VIT Bhopal (MP) only. For now the Vellore institute of University released the Phase-I & Phase-II Counselling Schedule for VITEEE 2017 Rank holders up to 99999. About 8 lakhs students were appeared for SSLC/10th Class 2017 board examinations in that 4.69 lakh boys and 4.07 Lakh girls.
