Age Limits: Age is considered as on 1st January 2016 and Upper age relaxation is applicable for some of the categories as per government rules. The age limits without any relaxation is

Educational Qualifications: Considered as on the date of notification i.e., 27th December 2016. The candidates must possess anyone of the below qualifications from any recognized University/Institute to apply for this ASO post recruitment

- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the Main Subject

- Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper in 1 year or 2 years or all the 3 years) as one of the main subjects.

- Bachelor’s Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper in 1 year or 2 years or all the 3 years) as one of the main subjects.

- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science (with Statistics as a paper in 1 year or 2 years or all the 3 years) as one of the main subjects.

Application & Examination Fee: Fee is payable through the Payment Gateway and the fee particulars are

Application Fee – Rs. 250/-

Examination Fee – Rs. 80/-

Note: Examination Fee is exempted for the candidates belong to AP state SC, ST, BC, PH, and Ex-Servicemen categories, Un-employed youth of AP State (in age group of 18 to 42 years) and white card holders of AP.

How to Apply:

1. Visit APPSC official website www.psc.ap.gov.in or direct link of online Applications http://appscapplications17.apspsc.gov.in/

2. First the candidate needs to pay the fee through Payment Gateway, for that go through Make Payment Link.

3. A new window will be opened, enter the basic details and pay the fee through online.

4. After Successful Payment A journal number will be generated, note down the Journal number.

5. Go through the Submit Application Link.

6. A new window will be opened, enter the Journal Number, date of Payment and Date of Birth correctly.

7. Upload Scanned Photograph with Signature and click on the Declaration Check box.

8. Enter the code in the box and click on upload button.

9. Fill up all the fields of online application form carefully.

10. After Successful submission of Online application, take a printout of it.

Selection Procedure:

1. Screening Test: this test is objective type and consists of 150 questions on Degree Standard for 150 marks. The time duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. Negative marking applicable for each wrong answered question i.e.,1/3rd marks of that question.

2. Main Written Exam: The candidates who qualify in Screening test will be called for Main Examination in 1:50 ratio. The Main Examination consists of 2 papers 150 marks for each and the exam pattern as given below
